You have to be the most bi-polar user on this site. Sometimes you say **** that makes me want to green you 100 times and other times you say **** like this and I wonder if you even watch boxing.Kirkland should be thrown in with an elite fighter, and he shouldn't get any free passes from HBO just because he got out of jail. Let's see him fight Dzinziruk or Angulo. I'm tired of Golden Boy's fighters getting preferential treatment like Jacobs did. I'm saying this as someone who likes Kirkland as a fighter.
Basically what I'm saying is the dude shouldn't be rewarded with bum fights on HBO just because he got thrown in jail while the rest of the division puts in work. HBO has too little of a budget to be wasting it. Kirkland is exciting and everything. But HBO is should treat every fighter the exact same way and they don't because it looks like they are letting Cotto fight Chavez Jr. and Foreman and forcing Paul Williams to fight Dzinziruk or Martinez.
I'd prefer to see Kirkland get the Paul Williams treatment as well.Comment

yep agree broGood news, I did miss the guy.
Big question mark though how quickly he can get in shape again, I heard he gained quite a bit of weight behind bards.
And the most important thing, I hope he finally learned to stay out of trouble. That was strike 2 for his career, one more and I'd say he's out, would be such a shame...
I heard he gained a ****load of weight too.
And like I said before, I wish that James would go stay with Shane.
He should hang with Shane for a bit, and train with ****m.Comment

Care to explain? I'm not saying that Kirkland doesn't have a right to take tune-up fights, and in fact I'd recommend it. I'm just saying it shouldn't be on HBO. If he takes some fights against a bum or two on ESPN to get his groove back and then decides he wants to be on HBO I'm all for it. I'm just saying HBO shouldn't be throwing money away on mismatches since it's close to the end of the year and their budget is tight. And I'll bet you Kirkland will get rewarded with an HBO date in his first fight after the bid because he's with GBP.Comment
