Former welterweight champion Carlos "TaTa" Baldomir is not going to lay down for rising Mexican superstar Saul Alvarez. Baldomir will get a shot to get back in the title picture when he meets Alvarez for the WBC silver junior middleweight title on September 18 at the Staples Center. The fight will be televised on HBO pay-per-view as part of the undercard to Shane Mosley vs. Sergio Mora. [Click Here To Read More]
glad to see baldomir still making money.
alvarez forget about knocking this guy out.
he has a head as big and as solid as a cinderblock.
work on the body or you could break your hand!
He'd probably hurt him more if he spanked him than if he punched him in the face... Baldomir really has a soft punch for relying so much on physicality.
If Baldomir was even a 1/4th of his prime form, he'd run over Alvarez. Unfortunately he's not, and he'll either lose a lopsided UD or he'll eventually be stopped on his feet.
