Yes hes a stud. Yes he has talent for days. Yes he has a weird confusing style. Yes he can punch.

But he also has only 17 fights and his career defining win is over a garbage prospect named Danny Jacobs. never thought Jacobs was good before the Pirog fight and now that hasnt canged. Jacobs isnt a good fighter IMO.

There is a reason I picked Pirog to beat him and collected e-points (lol) from several posters. Pirog is good. I knew that BEFORE he fought Jacobs.

But the talk of him beating Martinez, Williams, Pavlik, Ward, Dirrell etc. Is way too damn early.

I think the concensus on him was that he is good, but he gotta prove himself more. Only a few bandwagoners are saying thathe could take on top five of 160-168 right now and beat them.

PS. I think he could take on Paul Williams in one or two fights, I really dont rate him that high.

I don't agree that Jacobs was "garbage" - that's unnecessarily harsh. Unproven, untested, not very good, whatever. But garbage? As in, literally, trash in the bin? Come on. A term like that should be reserved for genuinely **** fighters like Valuev or something.
