You make it sound like Clottey is some bum that is worthless, and Ward just beat an A-level fighter in Green. Like I said, Clottey is a better WW then Green is a SMW yet you give Pacquiao pretty much zero credit and Ward props. What's up with that?

I agree, but that doesn't mean that Bute isn't a huge threat to everybody in the Super Six. He would definately be a front runner in the tournament.

This is more about Dirrell than Green. Dirrell IMO is the best 168 Pounder on the planet. So two good wins in a tournament within the division is a big deal. Especially for a young guy like either Andre.

Clottey IMO is garbage. Hes mediocre at best. Green is also not a good fighter IMO. But Ward doesnt have the luxury of picking guys to fight he literally is forced to fight whoever he has to which is why the guys in the tourney deserve mad props.

I'll wait until after the Ward-fight to say that but yeah, I like Dirrell. He's my favourite fighter in the Super Six. But he looked like **** not to long ago against Froch. Carl ****ing Froch. I now it was he first big fight and all, but still.

This is ridiculous. Clottey is a former champion, Green is not. Clottey has some wins against decent names on his resume (and should have Cotto too) Green hasn't beaten ANYBODY. Clottey is ranked 6th in welter by The Ring, Green not top10 in SMW etc.

I like the format, but it's not like the tournament is stacked with ATG fighters though.

I echo a few people in this thread, saying that Ward beating Green and Dirrell might not be enough.

If Dirrell wins, he certainly gets it, for beating undefeated Abraham and Ward, who were both favorites to win the tournament when he beat them (or at worst, Abraham was an extremely close second choice to win it).

Sergio Martinez or Fernando Montiel getting a big win in their second fight of the year could make them the fighter of the year.
