Juanma had a pretty good year and if Martinez gets a big fight I would say he is in the running as well. Andre Dirrell would have beaten two top notch undefeated PRIME fighters though. Ward would have two solid wins as well but compared to Dirrell if he won, it's nothing.

However the frontrunner is easily Fernando Montiel. If he beats Donaire there is nothing you can tell me otherwise, he is fighter of the year, period.

I totally disagree with Burner. I think this could potentially be the WORST fight in a long time. Here's why...

1. Andre Dirrell can be very negative, If he adapts the same "rabbit in the headlights" running strategy that he used agaisnt Froch then it could be very boring and un-entertaining.

2. Ward likes to wrestle his opponents to death and when he cant do that, He adopts a headbutting strategy instead. He does more clinching and mauling than he does boxing and that is a fact. It's not "inside fighting" what he does, Inside fighting is totally different. What Ward does is holding and hitting and just mauling the guy to death.

I can't see this fight being good to watch. Just can't see it...

You make it sound like Clottey is some bum that is worthless, and Ward just beat an A-level fighter in Green. Like I said, Clottey is a better WW then Green is a SMW yet you give Pacquiao pretty much zero credit and Ward props. What's up with that?

I agree, but that doesn't mean that Bute isn't a huge threat to everybody in the Super Six. He would definately be a front runner in the tournament.
