Floyd would have lost to a prime Kostya Tszuy, no doubt about it. Floyd would get owned by Senchenko if they fought today.

Former Soviet bloc fighters that have or will dominate their respective divisions north of Jr Welter (and bantam/ jr. bantam), we'll let you guys have the rest:

    Klitschkos - HW
    Denis Lebedev -CW
    Beibut Shumenov -LHW
    Lucian Bute - Super MW
    Dmitry Pirog - MW
    Sergei Dzhinzurik - Junior MW
Vyacheslav Senchenko - Welter (future undisputed king of the division)
Jr Welter - Leave this one out, if Kotelnik was younger, he would have beaten Khan
    Bantame/Jr. Bantam - Raging Bull

Don't confuse floyd with Zab. Zab lost to Kosta because Zab is not professional. He somehow thought the fight would be easy because of the 1st round. Floyd would never make sucha childish, unprofessional mistake.

Though most observers felt that Mayweather won the fight, the victory was awarded to Todorov by a narrow 10-9 points margin. Even the referee seemed to be somewhat surprised because he initially raised Mayweather's hand at the end of the fight. The United States team protested the result but with no success.

Maybe he wouldn't, but Zab went 12 with Floyd, he couldn't do that with Tszuy.

Look out for this kid Senchenko, every YT video of him is amazing. People were surprised when Pirog upset Jacobs, Senchenko will come on as an even bigger shock...can't wait him to fight the bigger names in the division. He looks ready for Floyd now, before Floyd gets too old.

He couldn't because Zab has always been unprofessional. Zab went 12 w/ floyd under some very unique circumstances.

Vitali wouldn't be as good a fighter he is today if he only had 1 eye, so you should be thankful the fight ended when it did so you can run your mouth now~

Tszyu had an injury, he wasn't up at the time for a Mayweather fight and when he finally did fight he fought Ricky Hatton and was basically retired on his stool throwing a Mayweather-Tszyu fight out of the window. I used to think that too back then but I admit there is a lot I didn't know that was happening, some guys it was injuries and others it was who their promoters was but Floyd just fought the best guys available to him who could offer him the most challenge, money and reward he just makes it look too easy..

people forget when he beat Gatti at 140 that was for a belt that Gatti had, he brutalized Gatti whom at the time was on a hot streak and considered a good champion but he only fought him because he was the only top guy there ready willing and able to face him, you can't blame Floyd for that nor even try to imply he ducked anyone because truth is he didn't, the business side of things didn't allow the fights we wanted to see Mayweather in come about..

Gatti was never as good Tszuy, Gatti was a tough slugger but Tszuy was a technician and had power. Only Italian-Americans believed Gatti would win.

lol no way, you think Senchenko is the best fighter at 147lbs? and there is no way in hell Shumenov is the best at 175lbs, he clearly lost to Campinillo in their last fight and got a gift.
Klitschkos are definitely best, Bute, Pirog and Dzinziruk are arguably true but they havent quite set it in stone

I have a hard time calling Vic the best at the low weight classes, and Lebedev has a bit more to prove before calling him the best at CW, although he has potential.

and Kostya would have crushed Gatti. but he was Australian.

Shumenov lost a MD and then beat Campillo in his next fight, he is still young enough (26) to get better, look at his comp to date, from his 3rd fight on he has beaten seasoned veterans with 50+ fights. He doesn't have the power but I think he is better than anyone else in the division.

Yes Senchenko is the best, I am telling you, keep sleeping on these Ukrainians and Russians.
