Khan would get the respect as one of the best in the world if he got into the ring with Urango and actually survived and won. It would show he might actually have a chance against Alexander. But he knows if he did he'll die so he's sticking to his lightweights.
Are you for real with this ****? First of all, titles mean ****, it doesnt make a fighter better than another one because of a piece of tin round their waste. Secondly, the only reason Urango had a title is because they stripped Paulie of the IBF belt before his fight with Hatton. Urango won Paulie's vacant title...

If you ever seen Witter-Kotelnik (I doubt), you'd know it was a very close/controversial decsion. Secondly, Witter and Urango are nothing alike....except maybe in ****ness. And triangle theories are the weakest ways to form an opinion on a fight. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about.

Khan got KOed by a bum, who lost to a British bum, who got KTFO by a guy who was whitewashed by Diaz and ktfo by an old Casamayor.

Alexander beat him, so Khan the Bredis prescott victim would as well. Got it.

When is the last time Khan faced a puncher?

The bold is exactly my point.

Urango would bring a pressure none of Khan's three 140 opponents could bring, so we'd get a much better idea of how smooth Khan really is. I can see him having an uneasy night with Urango. It would actually be good seasoning for Khan to deal with what Urango brings to the table...it would definitely add a new wrinkle to his résumé.

Bradley's considered the best 140lber right now by anyone with a clue for a reason - because of the diversity of his résumé since stepping up, and the number of different looks he's shown in cutting through it. Khan could benefit from the same.

          BTW, Dirk,

I'm not expecting Khan to step up to Urango, I know that fight's not being made, but see the above.

And by stepping up, I mean, any threat...I'll give him Kotelnik since it was his first fight at the weight and Kotelnik is decent (although he's still a very favorable match for Khan) - Salita and faded Paulie really don't represent threat.

You may use lame ass triangle theories to pick fights, I use styles. Khan dismantles Urango regardless of what Alexander did.

Again....you may bank on a punchers chance. I bank on the superior boxer.

I would pick Khan to win as well, but since he has the worst chin of any top boxer today it isn't a fight I would be too comfortable watching.

Ya know, something I've been noticing is how quickly people are forgetting how much Alexander was getting hit with Urango's wide left hook.

People got enamored with the KO, with good reason, but Alexander was getting hit a decent amount by a guy that's not very talented.

He was blocking the RIGHT hook with his left glove almost every time. Alexander also stodd right infront of him, unlike anybody was ever able to do minus Ricky Hatton, who struggled a bit.
