I found Pirog's style pleasing to watch.

Anyway, while I am a long standing fan of Pirog, he still has got a lot to prove. Not yet time to go against the very elite of the division. He needs a couple of fights against solid guys who can take a punch and give one as well.

Lots of guys like that in the WBO's rankings if you go past the first 5 or so.
Next fight will be against a vet, a slightly better than Kofi Jantuah.

Maybe Lajuan Simon or someone who's been beaten but is solid.

I think his first fight as champ will be against someone not too dangerous before he fights his mandatory there.

I thought him versus Gennady Golovkin would have been a good fight but Golovkin is going for an interim WBA title.

It still feels weird he is the WBO champ.

          I mean man.
how do you keep prospects away from the champion, sooner or later somebodies going to want a shot, and with Martinez and Pirog as champs everybody will be surely beating down Felix Sturms door. Non-Traditional European fighter with head movement in Pirog or the slick southpaw Argentian Martinez, or the guy that screwed by Oscar and knocked out by Javier Castillejo

Cant prove much, there's only Martinez and Sturm. If he can beat Martinez he's the man but I guess thats will be his defying fight b/c I think he will blitz Sturm

I'm hoping that Golovkin will get to unify with Sturm after this next fight.

It's an interim so how does that work cuz Angulo for example is the WBO interim but hasn't been made to unify with Dzinziruk? that should be a priority but they seem to have no problem letting that **** drag out?
