This is why I think people overrate people winning titles in multiple divisions. If someone can no longer make a weight class, it's not exactly a crowning achievement when they content at the weight their body is now fit to perform at.
If you burn calories more calories than you consume, you lose weight.
Pacquiao doesn't have to cut weight anymore since he fights at 147, so he can eat up to 7,000 calories to maintain his weight.
That's not really that big a number. When you consider how much these guys train, professional athletes consume probably 6,000-10,000 calories on average.
yes, you lose weight from burning FAT and you build muscle and maintain in the process. dude is muscle. so you are telling me, when he consumes alot of cals, hes burning MUSCLE? facepalm yourself
anyone who thinks pac can make 135 is smoking rocks. and anyone who thinks he can make 140 comfortably needs to be slapped
I gave you your first warning few days ago. There is a new rule, it's about Floyd fans referring to most Pacquiao fans as "*******s", and Pacquiao fans referring to most Floyd fans as "*****s. It is childish and uncivilized, we have to respect each of our members as if they were our own family.
BTW, you have to donate 1k to a Pacquiao fan(any Pacquiao fan).

ever heard of muscle catabolism? Yes, an athlete can "burn muscle".
If an athlete's body isn't properly nourished, the body starts breaking down proteins in the muscles for energy. The natural sources in the human body for energy are Carbs #1, fats #2, amino acids #3.
Pac can go down in weight just by eating less protein, and ingesting more carbs (while cutting calories, of course.)
Also, muscle mass is more dense than the adipose fat stored in our bodies. you CAN gain fat, lose muscle, and consequently lose weight.

7000-8000 calories is 3 to 4 times the ammount of food a full grown 180 pound man needs to maintain his body weight. He ate that way to reach 144 pounds. If he eats half that im sure he can lose a whole 9 pounds. Apperently basic Mathmatics is to complex for some of you.
*** you guys act like 3000-4000 calories is like a bunch of salads and ****!3000-4000 calories is a **** ton of food.

Yeah but 99% of those fighters don't consume 7000-8000 calories a day either.
