Can someone explain to me why Arum needed to set a July deadline to promote a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight but can wait until September to promote a Pacquiao-Margarito bout?

my guess is in case pacquiao-mayweather couldn't get made , he needed the extra time to get margarito a license?

pacquiao-cotto 2 was a longshot due to how easily pac beat cotto.

if arum is set on having an in house fight , the only other option was margarito.

announcing pacquiao-margarito gives margarito a better chance of getting licensed in nevada or texas.

the prospect of a pacquiao-margarito fight puts a lot of pressure on the commission to let margarito fight.

who else left in 147...berto is too young for pacquiao, he might end up losing his prime if he desire to get into the ring with pacquiao. Mostley has nothing to prove and nothing left for manny inside the ring...he might as well losing his losing prime..got me.....it is a nice decision to move up in weight, for pacquiao to clean out another division, i doubt it...but atleast he took the chance.

those criticizing the Pac -Margarito Fight, just goes to show you that Pac will take on everyone Mayweather ducked even during his stint as number 1 P4P.
He avoided Cotto Margarito and will not dare get in the ring with Clottey.

don't get frustrated after Pac disposes Margarito, he might just take Paul Williams or Sergio Maritnez..... am sure you will have your criticisms again once he does..... if only Mayweather will cut the BS and step up. Probably not while Pac is around.
