not excited? or you're just a hater? i dont care anymore if it is a catchweight or in the junior middleweight limit, as long as it would give us the fans the fight which are worth watching for.

Not to be a devil"s advocate becuase I'm not a fan of Arum and I would really like to see Pacman-PBF more than any other fight out there, but I think that the July deadline established by Arum was due to the fact of how complicated the negotiations has been to get the fight signed and he would like to have a guarantee that it would happened in order to start the huge logistic that this type of fight will require and this is including, sponsors, HBO 24/7, press conference, etc... Also consider that 2 parties (GBP and Top Rnak) would have to seat together to take care of this logistic but with AM vs Pacman that is not required. Another thin is that if PBF wouldn't accept the fight (which was aparrently what happened), Arum needed time to have Pacman choose his next opponent and prepare the logistic for that 2nd option also.

It is obvious that the logictic for a fight with 2 of his boxers, (non of which is PBF) will be a lot less and the work effort to make it happen will require less time that's why I beleive the July date was established.

Yes he does. He just doesn't have one in the USA. He already fought in Mexico once and could possibly get licensed in Canada or any other American country.

I'm gonna go with not excited. If it weren't for a title then I could understand. But a catchweight fight for a freakin vacant title!? Lame as heck. I've been following Manny since the Ledwaba fight so i'm far from a hater. And what has Margarito done to deserve a title shot. I just don't like to see bullcrap fights. No boxing fan does and this one is being served to us on a silver platter.

Yep, maybe he thought America was USA for a moment.

I don't care if their fighting for a freaking belt buckle made out of rocks and dirt. It should be a great "fight" and the last time I checked that's what boxing's supposed to be about. All of us "fans" are getting too caught up in who's making what, what belts R on the line, who deserves what, what weight is who fighting at, who ppv sells more what, who this what that. Life's not fair and it's not our job to nit pick at every little thing about a fight. Just lace them up, grab ur balls, and step in that ring a get it on.
