      Just brutal.
Stop with the asslicking of Hopkins. You are blind, you just don't have a fair judgment. Like I said if anyone thought Hopkins won the fight, I have no respect for you. This was not a hard fight to score. Show this fight to a person that never heard of Hopkins & Taylor, I guarantee that person will pick Taylor winning the fight.

Hopkins didn't win a round until the 10th, Hopkins won the last 3 rounds, Taylor won 7 rounds & 2 rounds was a draw. Hopkins was running away from Taylor for most of the fight. Like I said it last night, if any person saw the fight, thinks that Hopkins won the fight is either completely blind or an Hopkins asslicker.
Hopkins won at least two of first eight rounds if not more & the last 4 rounds easily. That at least gives him a draw. Alot of the first 7-8 rounds were very close. Basically rounds were just given to Taylor for being busier but he wasn't hitting Hopkins any more than he was getting hit. Hopkins was trying to tire him out so letting him throw alot punches early & miss was not a bad idea. Remember at the end of the fight the 26 yr old "Bull" was tired not the "Aging matador". Taylor knew he lost the fight you could see it right before the decision. IN MY MIND HOPKINS WON OR AT LEAST GOT THE DRAW. A 12 YEAR CHAMPIONS TITLE CAN'T BE TAKEN BECAUSE A GUY SWING & MISSED HIM MORE. DAMN HBO!!

That fight could have gone either way, and anyway you look you see about half of everyone seeing it one way or the other.

For you to talk about your take on the fight like it's factual and gospel, and dismiss anyone elses is just plain ignorant.

Almost everyone from either side has said it was a close fight. For you to suggest otherwise like it's a fact only shows how narrow minded and self righteous you are.

Not true, I think any one that is not blind, can tell you that Taylor clearly won the fight, unless you are an Hopkins nut-hugger like yourself. This is how I look at, if anyone thinks Hopkins won the fight, is either blind can see very well or is an asslicker of Hopkins. I stand by this very strongly.

Since you think that Taylor won very convincingly, I guess that makes u a Taylor nuthugger then?

No, that doesn't mean a fighter's hurt. It's just getting into a defensive mode especially if you're not in the proper position to throw back and counter. If a fighter's off balance and the other fighter throws a punch even if it hits him on the gloves or on the shoulders they can fall back onto the ropes it doesn't necessarily mean they guys hurt.

Hopkins won the fight on his ring generalship,EFFECTIVE AGGRESSION, & clean punching. Taylor was aggressive but missed alot of his punches. Hopkins slipped & countered early & turned the heat up starting in the round where Taylor was cut in. From that point on if you weren't listening to the Hbo cheerleaders Lampley, Merchant, & Letterman; anyone could see Hopkins slight adjustments in the fight. He became more & more aggressive & swept the 2nd half of the fight.

Judges look more at aggressiveness not compubox stats. Taylor was being the aggressor of the 2 till about the 10th round when he started tiring.

The more I see that round 10 clip the more I think Hopkins should have at least scored a KD and maybe a KO. Doesn't matter how much Taylor hung onto him, he's experienced enough that he should have been able to handle that.
