I believe you are way off because at this point I believe it has very little to do with the money. I believe it is a matter of the Klit brothers really wanting to hurt David "The Noisemaker" Haye.

Before the Valuev fight he was quite a busy fighter. But now he has kind of lost a bit of momentum and wants a break? But the thing is he dont plan to fight for long so he should just sign to fight the klitschos and go out in a blaze of glory.
But boxers are more lazy than the old days. Because once you make so much money now, there is so much more for boxers to do and spend their money on. Playstations, xboxs, tecnology, and so much more to do with your free time.
So maybe it is best to let him chill for a month or two. But dont fight anyone before the klitschos.

Yep im just saying there is too many distractions for boxers nowadays. Including the internet and stuff like that for boxers to think too much about boxing when you have got a few quid in the bank. Look at floyd mayweather.
