when was the last time you saw pacquiao up against a guy like margarito?

size does matter. toughness does matter. strength does matter.

unless marg is shot pacquiao will have a tough time.
I know it all that matters, but Pacquiao already proved to me that toughness and strength don't matter without a good gameplan and certain style. Clottey brought all the size, strength, and toughness he could, and all did was help him go 12.

In Margarito's case, it will get him KTFO because he doesn't have Clottey's defense, but he does have a more aggressive mentality.

And this is coming from some who thinks Margarito was weight drained against Mosley. My mind changed slightly after Margarito looked weak against career welterweight/jr. middleweight Garcia. Margarito's pretty close to done and Pacquiao will be too fast and skilled for him at this point.

Pac's gonna beat the **** out of him.

clottey could have beat pacquiao or at least had a chance to if he was just more aggressive.

          pacquiao's face can't handle 147 punches.

his chin is solid enough but his skin gets bruised up and beat up.

margarito might have to eat 3-4 to land 1 but that's how he fights anyway.

pacquiao does not have shane's strength nor could he use shane's gameplan that fight.

like i said , unless marg is absolutely shot (and he might be) pacquiao will have a tough night in there.

He honestly doesn't need Mosley's gameplan to win the fight, it won't be as easy, but it'll be easy.

He can do what Cotto did for the first 6 rounds with less movement and more punching.

Dig in the straight left to the body while Margarito is marching forward (hurts much more), step around, and stay out of range until he's ready to do it all over again mixing it in with hard shots to the head.

Marquez' face is doing the same at 135, great fighters can get past that. Margarito should be worried about his face getting sliced up because it's not gonna be pretty. He's defensively challenged and unless he pulls some defensive moves I don't know about, he's getting demolished.

Oh and Clottey could not have beaten Pacquiao with his style. His shell defense is a nightmare to use against Pacquiao, especially without a quick transition. He was seldom set to throw a punch and be in range.

Margarito is a better fighter than Marquez.

Other than being Mexicans they don't have anything in common. Margarito is a greater physical challenge to Pac than Marquez is now but not at all like him style wise. Don't expect Pac-Margarito to look anything similar to Pac-Marquez.
