21-1-1... wow. Sorry Vazquez, you might want to duck Morales in a mythical 122 ATG tournament.
Prime Morales vs. Prime Israel Vazquez at 122?

Gomez really was a beast. He had 1 punch power combined with excellent footwork and technique. How many power punchers carry those attributes?Haha, I just love getting a rise out of Puerto Ricans when I talk about people beating Gomez at 122. I've never even seen Gomez fight, but, every single person who I have respect for when it comes to boxing talks about Gomez at 122 like he is a god, so I'm willing to accept it.
Anyone who doubts Morales at 122 needn't go farther than watching him fight Wayne McCullough. That fight was out of control.
Don't get it twisted though Morales could definitely beat him though. What's a power punchers' kryptonite? Iron chins... Add Erik's offensive skills, height, reach, and decent defense and I'd put my money on El Terrible.
How many fighters like Vasquez did Morales fight though? He would slug with em, but he'd outslug them. He was that much of a badass that he would fight with them at their game and beat them.Comment

You know what?
Why talk about any fights involving Morales or any other elite fighter at all?
Let's just...you know...put them all on pedestals and say that no less accomplished, but still excellent and inspired, fighters who competed at their weights could possibly defeat them in a million years.Comment
