Prime Morales vs. Prime Israel Vazquez at 122?

This mythical matchup popped into my head yesterday while I was sitting in a kiddie pool.

    What do you people think?

    Someone's getting ktfo. But who?

I think Morales wins the battle of the chin in this one, and Morales was just as tenacious, but he did have the edge in technique, allowing him to land more than Vazquez in my opinion.

I would actually favor Morales by late round knockout, but I wouldn't be shocked at all if Vazquez lasted all twelve.

Erik does him like Larios in the 2nd fight of their trilogy. Izzy is a tough SOB though and would walk through anything to try to close distance.

They would make it an FOTY for sure. El Terrible would keep it on the outside for the most part and handle whatever Izzy landed and win with blood.

        Morales KHTFO within 7 rounds.

Morales would control distance with the jab and the he would lay teh hammer down with his straight right hand!!

Vazquez is a tough SOB, but Prime Morales is at another level

For sure... he was the best. Prime Wilfredo Gomez wouldn't have stood a chance.

Am I the only one who think this wont be much of a fight.

                Morales was sick at 122.

Haha, I just love getting a rise out of Puerto Ricans when I talk about people beating Gomez at 122. I've never even seen Gomez fight, but, every single person who I have respect for when it comes to boxing talks about Gomez at 122 like he is a god, so I'm willing to accept it.

Anyone who doubts Morales at 122 needn't go farther than watching him fight Wayne McCullough. That fight was out of control.

I would favor Erik too, but he was easily drawn into slugfests and Vazquez could crack with both hands so anything is possible.

Though if Erik wanted to he could probably cruise to a decision, which he would never do cuz' he's wired to be a Real Man™.
