At least he can leave the sport with a little "haha b**ch I knocked you down and you're like half my age". LOL but I wish fighters could stay in their prime until their late 30s. Its ashame to see them go with such humiliating performances.

He use to be one of the best in boxing. As far as skills go and ring generalship he use to completely leave his opponents clueless.

Casamyor is one of the smartest boxers I've ever seen. He's also MAD old, I don't think anyone believe's his age listed is his actual age. Most believe he's much older.

He was a great great fighter, I hope he decides to become a trainer.

Joel has to be, like, 43.

Casamayor was great to watch when he was at his best.
I think Guerrero said that Casa was one of his idols and I think that had a lot to do with him not wanting to press the action. He was trying to touch gloves and immediately hugged him after the fight....I don't think he like the idea of beating up an old hero of his. Regardless, the win did little for Guerrero's carer.

I remember there was a lot of speculation throughout his career that he was WELL over 43. Some people believe he was 5-8 years over the age he said he was.

And don't get it twisted, his career has been over for a long time now. He has somehow survived with his grit and experience. Fighters like him are very rare. He's also considered one of the best amateurs ever.

His straight left was a thing of beauty. It was short and compact. It didn't look powerful until you saw it snap his opponents head. And he threw it at the drop of a dime, didn't load it or anything. It always came out of no where. Perfect technique.
