The difference betwen Pirog and his easter Euro brethren is tha, like Calzaghe, he mixes the best of the American and Euro styles. They will stick with Dmitry just like they stuck with Cal.

I hope so, but I don't think so. I think it has to do with Greenburg's prejudice against Europeans rather than fighting styles...

The American promoters may not want to sign Dmitry Pirog, because they know Ross Greenburg doesn't like skillful European boxers and is extremely reluctant to allow them on HBO.

Gary Shaw has run into this problem with Dzinziruk - Greenburg won't allow Sergiy on against Williams or anybody else.

Greenburg even refused to show Cunningham-Adamek II and Glen Johnson-Adamek last year.

WHAT?! You mean he had a chance to put on a Cunningham-Adamek rematch and refused? That's ridiculous.
