I don't want Williams to fight Sergio unless it's at 154. I want Paul to establish himself at WW, hopefully fight Berto or one of the guys moving up. I want Paul to fight Floyd or Manny.

You are wishing for a pipe dream. Floyd and Pacquiao are the two biggest divas in the sport and Williams will show he's just as bad as they are if he don't fight someone good in his next fight. And HBO only wants Martinez and Williams to fight each other.

Paul is definitely not ducking Sergio. His promoters don't want him to campaign full time at MW and after he would beat Sergio that's exactly what would happen.

Paul is top 3 P4P. He was forced to fight the baddest guy at MW because nobody in his weight class would fight him. He should have stayed at WW. They can force in a mandatory at WW.

I don't believe that. Although I will admit the guys who I think would avoid him are Angulo and Cotto. But Paul could fight Vanes and Dzinziruk afterwards. Not the best or most marketable fights I know. But who else could he fight at 160 besides Pirog or Martinez?

That would be a great fight. HBO would accept that fight but not a fight between Sergio and Angulo.....lol. Further proof that HBO does not like Sergio and just want to get him out of the spotlight by making him fight nothing but tough fights...Cintron, Williams, Pavlik, then Pirog.

When Sergio beats Pirog, they will of course want him to fight Lucian Bute and then Tomaz Adamek, lol. No, let's not let him take a fight off by taking on his mandatory, feed him the toughest comp until he loses, this guy is making our stars look bad.

I thought HBO was interested in a fight with Bute and Sergio. Merchant brought it up or something. Martinez should actually go for it because of the payday.

Whoever the mandatories demand he fights. If he takes the belts he has to defend them. The opponents you named are nobodies. It's time Paul became a major player and even fighting Sergio will not do that. He has paid his dues. Margarito, Quintana, Winky, Martinez etc. Always tough fights. He's the furthest thing from a diva. Get real. He is owed a big fight. He can make WW. So that's where he belongs.

                    1 - i doubt he'd beat Sergio

2 - yet he won't fight Dzinziruk, the top guy at 154.

Martinez would annihilate Pirog, come on now.
