He would look like sensational decapitating Michael Katsidis. That would be a nice way to bow out.

Do not fight Amir Khan. Please.

JMM is a soldier baby! He had one hell of a boxing career. He should call it quits.

One more fight, Katsidis will send him to retirement and be the first to KO JMM.

I thought Marquez looked pretty good last night.

At 135, he could be competitive with Pacquiao imo.

Anything above 135 against Pacquiao and he gets beat though.

I'd favor Khan against him also but i would still give Marquez a decent chance.

One point you may be missing is that boxer's spend their entire career building a name/reputation and it's usually only in the last few years of their career they get to make serious money. The temptation to fight on increases with the bigger paychecks. So whilst it's noble to retire at the peak of your career, at the same time you can't blame JMM for wanting to make as much cash as possible before his earning potential disappears.

He actually beat diaz first before Paulie ever stepped in the ring with diaz. THe reason the fight was slower then the first is because of diaz. Diaz was fighting to make it through 12, h wasnt pressing the fight like the first bout. Marquez hasnt lost it yet. Just cause your 36 doesnt mean you cant fight with the best. Not everyone ages the same...ask Hatton and Cotto...those 2 guys are younger and are damaged goods.

katsidis i give him a good chance marquez might not be able to keep up with the pace. marquez hands was moving to slow for me on the inside last night. and those legs are gone. it would be a close fight for both fighter. he aint knocking jmm out unless the ref push him back down like the ref did danny last night.

                      leave 140 alone jmm
