He should be fighting Williams/Martinez/Pavlik in a few fights time.
Martinez vs Pirog would be FOTY material.Comment

Soviets only in the last 20 years or so have been allowed to turn pro and they are dominated the most famous division already, soon to dominate the lower classes.Well I was going to give you the whole continent, just to make it closer. It's not fair if we are just going United States versus the U.S.S.R. Time for your new love to really step his game up from fighting a 22 year old boy though. Lets see what Pirog does against Pavlik and if he can actually pass that then we can see if he is ready for the big leagues. Beating a boy didn't prove anything on an elite level of boxing.Comment

No one ethnicity or nationality will ever dominate boxing. That would be bad for boxing considering its such a global sport. I'd hate to see any one group of people dominate the sport. I like the international feeling we get when he watch different countries and cultures represented throughout the world.Comment

On a serious note, how low are you talking about?
Because frankly, I don't see Eastern Europe dominating the lowest of weight classes anytime soon. They may have the odd fighter like Sidorenko or Arbachakov, but they will be largely comprised of Asian of Latino fighters at the elite level.Comment

Pavlik is ****, he's not good enough to beat Pirog.
Martinez vs Pirog would be an interesting fight, but Pirog isn't ready just yet. He needs to take some more scalps at 160.Comment
