  • Comments Thread For: Vitali Klitschko: No Deal Yet To Fight Shannon Briggs

While Shannon Briggs is telling everyone that he has a deal to face WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko in October, the champion from Ukraine says a deal to fight Briggs has not been finalized. Briggs told the press that he received a contract for the fight, but Klitschko says the contract is not even finished. Both Klitschko and Briggs are at the WBC's champions gathering in Cardiff. Nice to see Briggs really wants the fight, unlike the fearful Haye and Valuev.

Nikolai wants to fight Vitali, every interview with the actual man confirms this. K2 is just hellbent on drawing up slave contracts instead of actually putting together an intriguing match.

They will continue to fight ****** fat-guys from now on, because no one with a brain will take their bogus contracts seriously.

Thats one thing we cant say about Shannon Briggs because he wants this fight and is telling the WHOLE WORLD THAT

I say he needs to go HELL FOR LEATHER FOR 6 ROUNDS because unles he KNOCKS VITALI OUT i cannot see him winning on points especially in GERMANY
also we know shannon has breathing difficulties so he tires out .....

IMAGINE THE USA IF SHANNON THE CANNON WINS

They offered Valuev the biggest payday of his career and he rejected it. They offered Haye parity, and to fight in England, he rejected it. They won the purse bid and would have given Povetkin his biggest payday, Teddy Atlas admitted that Povetkin "wasn't ready" and he rejected it.

They are scared of the Klitschko's, and they should be. It would be the ends of their careers. Briggs has nothing to lose, those three do.

Well, these may be the most exciting four rounds in the recent HW history...

Sad state of affairs at HW when this a fight to look forward to. Briggs has a puncher's chance against anyone but he didn't have stamina in his prime and he won't have it now. Vitali is getting up there but he'll KO Briggs inside 6 if the deal is sealed for the fight.

The contracts are only "bogus" to people too scared to fight them. At least Teddy Atlas didn't come with that crap: he just admitted his guy can't win. And while Valuev might want to fight Vitali, Don King doesn't want him to, which is a problem.

Briggs is looking to cash out, obviously. Vitali will kill him, which will be good fun to watch, as Briggs is a big-time ******. I'm sure if the fight is signed, Briggs will start the racial crap right away. By fight time, it will be a racial war between African-Americans and evil Euro-whiteys. That's Brigg's style.
