That basically is what Cotto has been doing his whole career. I mean, sure his resume has good names on it and everything. But he's never once in his career taken two tough fights in a row unless you wanna count Judah before Mosley which doesn't hold much weight. And why are people bringing Floyd into this? I forgot you have to be a Floyd fan to bash Cotto. Lol.its odd how no one calls this B rate fighter out on his BS. These fighters always use the deferring to the company excuse in order to hide their reluctance to face the best comp. And most of you fall for it.
powder puffs in between tough fights is suspect when considering cotto is an "elite" fighter. But whatever! Now back to back BS bouts is unacceptable. And clearly shows how he is taking his fans for a ride, easy one.Comment

Never once in his career??? Once again you show how much you know about Boxing???That basically is what Cotto has been doing his whole career. 1st Judah and Mosley holds lots of weight as consecutive tough fights.
Paulie and Quintana, were both undefeated and were a tough challenge for anyone, if not ask Juan Diaz and Paul Williams.
If in you eyes Clottey and Pacman are not tough fight than you are more than Pathetic, you are ******.Comment

Clottey and Judah are tough fights for someone like Cotto, because Cotto isn't that good. Elite fighters beat those guys easily. Quintana, I guess I can give you that one. But who did Cotto fight after that? Urkal? Lol. And Malinaggi got ass ****d by Hatton and Khan, so how is that a good win.Never once in his career??? Once again you show how much you know about Boxing???

Look at the pattern in the lead up to Cotto and Margarito's fight with each other.
Clottey and Quintana are about the same level I'd say.
But........
Judah < Paul Williams
Gomez < CintronLast edited by Iceta Lives; 07-31-2010, 11:06 AM.Comment

so u want cotto to fight big name opponents every time he steps into a ring ? dude, he has a potential rematch with pacquiao or marg waiting for him next year, why wouldnt he take on a chavez jr, whoop his ass and move on to the real event, that happens every time in boxing.Clottey and Judah are tough fights for someone like Cotto, because Cotto isn't that good. he isn't as great as people think, those names you mention here are deceiving, like ndou had 6 losses already when he faced cotto, corley had lost 2 of 3 before facing cotto, mayweather had beaten him up already, judah? hadn't won in 3 fights prior to facing cotto, and don't forget that when cotto fought at 140 he was another donaire, just too big for his opponents, outweighing his opponents by up to 15 pounds,,,,once cotto faced tough opposition he just ranComment
