Byrd discouraged Vagini because he wouldn't fold like all the hand picked opponents the ****ko's feast on. Byrd made Vagini quit with sheer will and determination.

Also known as KNOCKED HIS ASS OUT.

How many "ifs" are hidden in that statement?

      That's a JOKE.

What DID happen, is that Lewis landed 50% of his power punhes, and turned Vitali's face into a ground beef, prompting a well deserved stoppage.

I suppose you saw that fight once, and were unable to bring yourself to watch it a 2nd time...

....Only one "if" BOZO. I have seen that one numerous times and you and I both know the deal.

I suppose it's the same "If" from the Wlad Brewster fight.

        "If" Wlad hadn't got tired...

"If" there wasn't so much vasaline on his legs...

...Wlad shot his Wad because he was over anxious or whatever the hell happened inside his head. What does Wlad have to do with the Vitali/Lennox convo? Again with your obsession?

.....besides that was two ifs and they weren't the same ifs as Vitali's one if. "If" you understand my drift.

That would have been the impact of the two left hooks Brewster landed in the 5th round that signaled the begining of the end.

You remember the ones, don't you?

Oh that's right, you couldn't bring yourself to watch it a 2nd time.

...No excuses, Lennox got the W. The absolute bottom line is that the glancing slice cut punch changed the whole complexion of the fight and without a fluke like that we would have had a recognized new undisputed heavyweight linear champion of the world.

.....By the time Brewster landed anything Wlad was already stumbling around the ring like a drunk.

No, the absolute bottom line is that Vitali's strategy to stand and trade with Lewis was what lost him the fight. It began at the begining of the 3rd round, and after the 6th rounds his face ended up looking like this:

Your assertion that it was luck, and that Lewis only continued to beat his face into a bloody pulp because of the one cut is not factual in the least. It's 100 % desperation and guesswork on your part.

They both elected to stand and take shots to land shots, Lewis was the stronger puncher and landed 50% of his power shots, and Vitali's face was torn up. 6 seperate cuts (above and below the lips, in the roof of his mouth, and above and below the eye) for over 80 stitches.

Getting "tired" in a prize fight is no excuse. Brewster showed chin and heart in the early rounds, and turned the fight around with two consecutive left hooks in the 5th round that turned the fight around
                  and he never let up.

You've already admitted you only saw it once and were so upset you couldn't see it again.

Your opinion on something you weren't able to watch objectivly doesn't hold any weight in a debate.

What is the point of this thread anyways?

I mean its not like Klitschko is overrated or anything. People don't even recognize him as a great heavy. But right now, he's the best we've got as sad as it sounds.
