for as much as PWill likes to claim the "most feared man in boxing", he certainly doesnt take challenges too well. PWill always claims he'll fight anyone and this and that and that noone wants to fight him, well guess what big mouth heres a guy with the balls the size of your head, fight him and forget about your dream of facing Manny Pacquiao... it aint ever happening, you and cintron only sold 200 seats at the home depot center and 100 were family... stand up and fight this kid who's been calling you for the longest time. as earlier posted, the reason cant be vanes isnt big enough name, hes in the top 10, that should be big enough and his record speaks for itself, regardless of what some may say has been a rather resume...

I give him a ton of credit for daring to take on tough fights. Isn;t that what this sport should be about? He is willing to take a huge gamble. Is he over his head? Very possible. He gets my respect for being daring. If more guys had his attitude, the sport would be in fine shape.

Vanes is a tough one to figure. He has not looked that great lately, but it could be due to being stagnant. If they up his competition he very well may have the goods to do very well in there. He does have good fundamentals, good snap to his punches and has a decent enough arsenal to gain anyone's respect if he can get that little boost. Upping his competition may be exactly what he needs.

I give Vanes credit for calling out every fighter with a name and resume, however I have yet to see that he could beat any of them, except for maybe Cintron. Let's hope one of these guys has the cohones to fight him and he will then get a chance to prove me wrong (if I were always right, I'd be rich!)...

Yes some fighters need to feeling challenged. They fight like mad when facing real danger. Look at Lennox Lewis as a prime example. Against lesser competition, he often looked downright sloppy and uninspired at times. When he faced top guys, he looked fantastic.
It can be all about motivation. That extra boost is often all that is needed. Vanes has been basically sitting in the same spot for two years, that could bore anyone. You can tell he is itching to prove himself, I just hope Bob Arum listens to him.
