              agreed. i think he'd be better off fighting someone like deandre latimore, sechew powell, daniel santos, spinks/bundrage winner...guys of that caliber. he ain't quite ready for the big time yet

                      good to see a young fighter willing to put everything on the line and fight the best out there...

                      Vanes will hold his own against any top opposition.

                      One of the big names needs to step up and respond to this somehow... and don't tell me he is not a big enough name this that...

                      28-0 US Olympian is enough on a resume to take on anyone in the world

                                  Why is he calling out middleweights instead of Jr middleweight? Either he's having trouble making weight or he's just that confident.

                                  I'd actually consider picking Vanes over Williams because of the style matchup. That said, I could easily see him crumbling under the pressure and volume of Williams after looking decent in the fight.

                                  Every time I see these types of threads, I remember back to when Vanes was talking **** about Sergio . He definitely fell back from that though.
