Then its safe to say the El Nino De Oro has lost his shine. Linares's career at this moment somewhat parallels Amir Kahn's when he got Prescotted. Linares got taken care of in the first round by an unknown. He was put in a confidence builder in the next fight and now he's going in with a decent fighter, relatively, in Rocky Juarez. I mean, I think its safe to say Juarez is a tougher fight than Salita was for Kahn. But if Linares can't get past Juarez, the likely hood of him succeeding on a bigger stage deteriorates.
If Jorge Linares Does Not Get Past Rocky Juarez

Juarez is a gatekeeper.
So if Linares loses hes stuck outside until he fights another one.
If he gets destroyed he screwed.
I think he wins.
Hell Jason litz was having a lot of sucess.
Linares should dominate him.
The only result that would shock me is if Linares knockes out Juarez.
Rocky has a hell of a chin.Comment

Rocky is a very live dog in my view. Linares got punked out by some unknown in his own adopted hometown and I view Juarez as one of the best punchers in the sport, especially with that left hook.
If he commits to a decent workrate and walks the fragile Linares down, I have no doubt he can stop him.
Linares is a prodigy no doubt, but losing to an unknown like he did raises serious questions about his chin and durability.Comment
