I expect an insane amount of punches and a insane amount of headbutts.

These guys can't keep going through these types of fights.

    Somebody's chin will crack eventually.

      **** boxing politics.
I agree **** boxing politics, but the reason why the Mares rematch hasn't gotten made is because the IBF has been pushing for Agbeko to get his rematch even though his title eliminator got canceled.

I'm all for this rematch, but this **** reeks of IBF corruption.

SMH at Rafael's rankings. Anselmo Moreno not in the top five?
One would think beating Sidorenko twice and Cermeno once would be enough to be one of the top five competitors in your division, but... apparently not.

Absolutely, and he beat them in Germany and Venezuela

Wow, didn't know that. That's out of control. How did he possibly get two decisions over Sidorenko, who is not only good, but Universum promoted, in Germany?

That's wildly impressive. I wish more people would do that, but... decisions like De La Hoya-Sturm and Ottke-Reid makes people tentative to do so... and rightly so.

He beat Sidorenko by using his feet to control the ring, giving his opponent angles and countering. Sidorenko had trouble dealing with his southpaw style, height, and reach, IMO. Sidorenko did better the second time around, though.

I was surprised he got the decision, TBH. Agbeko threw and threw against Sidorenko, out landing and out working him....a more aggressive style than the one Moreno employed, but he was robbed.

The Cermeno fight was really close, one that could've gone either way. The rematch is on August 14th.

So Agbeko should have beaten Sidorenko?

I've only seen one 118 fight in my life... Perez-Mares.

                    Yes, I believe so.

I saw the fight on YT about 4-5 months ago. It might still be up, you can check it for yourself.

I'm not so sure about that. Both Agbecko and Perez have p4p 2 of the best chins in boxing. I personally never seen either hurt seriously in a bout even though I have seen some big shots landed on both.
