    Agbeko-Perez II Nov 6.

IBF bantamweight champion Yhonny Perez (20-0-1, 14 KOs) of Colombia and former world champion Joseph Agbeko (27-2, 20 KOs) will meet again Nov 6. The bout was scheduled to go to purse bid today but Perez’ promoter Gary Shaw and Agbeko’s promoter Don King informed the IBF today that they reached an agreement. The two met Halloween night 2009 where Perez upset the then defending world champion Agbeko by unanimous decision in a exciting bout. The bout will be televised on Showtime’s championship boxing. No venue has been set as of yet.

      Agreed.

Though Perez-Agbeko was a more entertaining fight.

      So I'm not to mad.

Now that Mares and Perez are with Frank I guess they're not putting them against each other again

Agbeko deserves one too. He didn't come as close as Mares, but he did give Perez a hell of a fight. Mares will get his second chance.

I think Perez takes this a little easier than the first time.

If I'm not mistaken, this fight was ordered by the IBF.

Agbeko was supposed to fight Vusi Malinga in an eliminator in April, but the fight fell through the cracks.

You aren't mistaken... that is certainly the case.

I think Perez will beat him much easier this time around, This fight wont look anything like their first scrap.

Malinga's people defaulted on the purse bid, that's why the eliminator never happened.

What recent changes have been made in boxing's weight-class rankings? Dan Rafael reveals his new world standings.

SMH at Rafael's rankings. Anselmo Moreno not in the top five?
