I have an impossible time believing this fight could happen. But a lot of people are hearing similar things.

Personally i dont know how truthfull it is considering that Arum wasnt there and Cotto always says that Bob Arum is in charge of picking and setting his fights. Thats all ive heard so i will leave it at that, just wanted to give my fellow die hard fight fas the ehads up. And FYI Carlos is probably in his 60s so its not like i heard this from some kid that just shoots off at the mouth but 4 all i know the guy coulda been wacked out of his mind.

He's full of ****. No fighter at his level lets their promoter pick his fights without his approval.

I would have to say a mayweather cotto would be good, But a Cotto Sergio Martinez fight would be even better. I personally think that if pacquiao wants to move up weight to fight for an 8th belt he should fight the top guy in that division. and that is Sergio Martinez!!!

i agree. i'm about as excited about this fight, as i am about pacquiao-margarito.

i'm a mayweather fan, but even i don't understand the rationale in this fight. we want mayweather-pacquiao, pacquiao just destroyed cotto.....not to mention, mayweather has already won a title at 154, so there goes that.

I'm more interested in knowing what AHL team you play for than Mayweather-Cotto.

That's a pretty big deal. Probably the best of all the minor hockey leagues

Exactly man, I'm with you on that. Unless it's Martinez, Paul Williams or Pacquiao I'm not buying the PPV. And this is coming from someone who has bought every Mayweather PPV since Judah.

Descent matchup we all know the result already. After that Floyd takes another year vacation and comes back to fight another low risk high reward fighter.
