If he maintains his current lifestyle of carelessly spending his money, he eventually WILL get thrown out of his family home.

There is a limit to how many fights his body can take, but there is no limit to how much money you can squander.

wow seriously all this flashy ipods/cars is really putting him in a bad spot. If he ever retires from boxing he better stick to minimum 2 fancy cars/1 big house and very minimum night clubing if he wants to keep that money for his kids...

the landlord of course previously issued some 1st and 2nd notices for non-payment but floyd and his promotional company probably just ignored it, so the warning turned into eviction but still no payment was made...then eviction turned into a suit. that's just pathetic...or maybe floyd doesn't really care about his reputation, just like how he doesn't care about his fans.

I doubt that the property he was renting was worth 10 grand a month anymore, it might have been the smart move to get out of that arrangement which was set up at the highest of high (for pricing) in Nevada with something much more affordable.

2008 was a terrible time to rent/buy or negotiuate long term rent contracts, now is much better, just to point that out.

This would never happen if Floyd hired Michael Koncz!

Yep, 2008 was indeed a bad time for renting, but i think there are better ways of getting out of an arrangement than not paying your rent and eventually getting sued for it.
