Floyd has 4 lineal titles in only 3 weight classes. 130, 135, and 147 twice. Not the same as Manny's 4 in 4 seperate weight classes and not nearly the same distance from weight wise from the first to last title.

Statement 1 you need to clarify. Statement 2 is disguised racism.

True dat. great accomplishments. Floyd has 4 lineal as well. Again, I'm not knocking pac. great fighter. 1st ballot HOF. But there are 2 reasonable fair criticisms of manny:

1.No title defenses like the ATG you compare him to
2. The lack of a US born and bred "slick" boxer (the kind Hopkins described to Pavlik) on his record.

Is that a fair statement?

1.What do you mean pac has never had a title defence. Didn't he just defend his title against clottey. he had 3 defences as a flyweight 4 as a junior featherweight. 2 as featherweight.
3. Pac wanted to fight floyd but he declined. And who says that in order to become an all time great you have to beat a "slick American" fighter? Dont you have to beat the best fighters around?

No need to discredit his achievements.

But that was forrest belt and he was the lineal champ. I'm not saying ODH was the best either. Jack i thought he relinquished the 126 lb title before those fights. the marquez fight was at 130

floyd has 4 in 34. ODH was lineal at 154. Manny has not defended any titles above 126 except for clottey. As for #3 I didn't say or imply that. I said its a fair criticism thats all.
Look, when someone tells the truth its not discrediting someone. The ATG's manny is compared to have multiple title defenses. Like manny all you want but you nor I can change the past!

I wasn't sure he was the underdog vs barrera, not that it wasn't his best weight. Floyd has as many lineal titles as manny so the barkley thing is out. Floyd=Magic Manny=Shaq. Floyd is better, manny has been more dominant.

pacquiao was 4-1 underdog when he first fought Barrera.
