Personally, I don't see how someone can be ok with Floyd wasting yet another year of his prime not fighting and be upset with Manny fighting Margarito in November. I just can't wrap my head around it.

Neither scenario is good. But only one of them might involve my pockets. -

Manny fighting is a good thing. Fighting Margarito is a bad thing. Floyd not fighting and taking time off definitely sucks.Comment

You have the option to purchase it, or not. They aren't forcing you to do anything. They are simply providing a fight for whoever is interested. Floyd is not even giving you that option.Comment

Sounds like you agree Marg pac is a crap fight but are justifying it because floyd has decided not to fight right now. Is that what you are suggesting?Comment

I think it is an excellent fight! Look, there is only one guy who might be a favorite with the bookies come fight night in a fight against Manny at 154 pounds and below. Anyone else that Manny fights, whether it be Bradley or Berto at 147 or Williams, Martinez or Margarito at 154, Manny will be the favorite come fight time. I would have been excited had either Manny or Floyd decided to fight any of the fighters I mentioned. Is Margarito the very best fight that could have been made? No. Is it still good? Yes. Is it better than Floyd sitting out the rest of the year? No comparison.Comment

Yeah, however my options aren't the issue. The issue is the fact that the are charging $60 for one of the least deserving challengers currently. I'm sorry but if that's the option then I'm not biting. Floyd not fighting is terrible but at least he's not sticking out a cup for money while he's at it. If I want to watch sparring, I can go up the block.Comment

Sparring. Floyd and Manny have made all of their fights against all of the rest of the best fighters in the world look like sparring matches for years now. Anyone they fight, outside of each other, will look like sparring matches.Yeah, however my options aren't the issue. Was the Floyd/Shane fight a sham? Did you feel ripped off at the end when Shane had been in survival mode, was dominated and didn't attempt to win or go out on his shield? Or was that a legitimate fight in your eyes?Comment
