Hbo wants to make money. The biggest money making fight is pac vs may. So he has interest on both sides, therefore neutral.
Greenburg need both to make the biggest fight of the decade. Hbo needs both. Greenburg saying there was a negotiations means there was.

Bottomline: HBO wants money. And the biggest fight is Floyd vs Pac. How unbaised can a midleman be? He has interest in both parties. He is definitely in the middle of the talks.

I think Greenburg did speak to Arum but didn't actually negotiate but he had to save his ass and say that he tried to make the fight happen because he's the head of HBO.
