Well according to some people, if you beat the man you become the man. (which would have put Ricky Hatton at P4P No.2 in those people's eyes, the same way they had Tarver P4P No.2 after he beat RJJ).
I get frustrated with this whole P4P business because people base P4P lists on so many different things these days.
OK... I'll do a P4P list on exactly WHO I think will WIN if WEIGHT wasn't a factor RIGHT NOW!!!... NOT what they have acheived in their career!
THIS IS SURPOSED TO BE WHAT P4P IS ALL ABOUT!!!
For example there's no way in the World a 40yr old Hopkins would be able to keep a 26yr old Pacquiao off him at the same weight!... Hence the meaning of P4P!...
1. Barrera - He's got it all, and has proved it against the elite!
2. Wright - I've said for a long time this boy can out-box anyone! This is nothing to do with his recent victory!
3. Morales - Has mixed in the top class forever, and is still on top of his game!
4. Hatton - I don't think anyone in the World will be able to stop Hatton closing the distance with educated pressure.
5. Pacquiao - He maybe a little one dimensional, but "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"... He's showed his effectiveness against the best!
6. Mayweather - He maybe a little feather fisted, but he's got the skills to move and out-box almost all!
7. Tsyzu - With THAT MUCH POWER IN EITHER HAND! You can't dissmiss this guy, Not only that, he's an excellent boxer to boot!!!
8. Calzaghe - This isn't because I come from the UK, but He's 39-0 31ko's and has ruled the division since 1997! He looks to take your head off!
9. Hopkins - below Calzaghe because I think Calzaghe would beat him, but this is a sly old fox who will run and hit!
10. Cotto - Call me crazy but this guy is SOOOO STRONG and hit's like a kick for a mule! He's one of the best 140lbr's and the future of boxing!
This is my P4P list!... I know it's very different from the usual **** you see. But I think P4P is surposed to be about "THEE BEST FIGHTER RIGHT NOW IF WEIGHT WASN'T A FACTOR"... Well this is what I think.
There's no marketing hype or what they've done in their careers before hand in there... just total honesty!
