JMM: Pac punches harder, is faster, but Floyd's style is more difficult

Between 2 counter punchers,the bigger faster 1 usually wins!!That is the story of Marquez & Floyd,added to the fact that the fight took place wayyyy above Marquez's best weight!!

When examining a fantasy fight involving Pacman & Floyd,the key aspect is that U have a great defensive fighter,against a great offensive fighter!!Both are highly conditioned elite athletes,both are easily the best at their trade!!Marquez was at his best against Pacman,in his weight,in his element!!He had no business fighting Floyd at welterweight being outweighted by as much as he was,so to me his analysis will always be a little suspect!!

Floyd is Fast, but he doesn't put his strength into his punches, but he has crazy good defense, so if this fight ever happens it would be an amazing battle. Floyd will most likely be looking for a decision and Pac will be looking for a K.O.

by the same token, marquez is saying pac @130 hits harder than floyd @147 (though coming off a long layoff)?

I think we all should keep in mind that 144 was the heaviest that JMM weighed in at in his career, so it might be safe to say he takes a better punch at that weight than he did at 130. It's difficult to compare anything if it didn't happen at the same weight class.

i think it'll be a little boring tbh.

i can picture pac-floyd going like tito-delahoya (the last part of the fight when tito was able to steal rounds by just going forward) if pac wins and tito-hopkins (maybe without the ko) if floyd wins.

floyd is pretty fast and he has decent pop.

i think floyd could have won a lot of fights by ko that he won by decision.

floyd just isn't wired with manny's offensive mentality and killer instinct.

floyd is the hit them a little , don't get hit type.

manny is the hit them as much as you can , even if you get hit type.

remember guys, this is the 130 version of pac marquez is comparing to floyd

no doubt in my mind pac has slowed down a bit as he moved up weight, but his power and movement has improved a great deal
