Best Southpaw Jab Ever

Yeah winky would have given anyone in history a good fight at 154-160, anybody. He dont have the name or fame that the other guys have but true boxing fans know he would be competitive with all the ATG's in his division.

I used to see him as a kid before I followed boxing, running and training at the park. I think he had his first title at about that time and I didnt know any better I just thought he was an amateur local fighter because he was down to earth and talked to all the kids. It blows my mind thinking about it that he is like a shoe in for the top 3 ATG at 154 in history and hes from my hometown.

I was shocked when I saw him on HBO against Vargas, I had just started watching boxing and I was blown away that guy from the park was on HBO fighting for a title. He had nice cars but I never put it together that he was at the world level because he was down to earth.

Then Vargas only won like the last 3 rounds of that fight,but came away the victor.

Winky was very reliant on his jab and it was easily his best weapon. But I think I like Whitaker's a tad better.

i would also vote for pernell's though it would be a toss-up between whitaker's and wright's depending on whose fight i watched last.

I don't know, tough question. But I loved the way Whitaker would step in with his jab and land it so effortlessly.
