The poster was right, the negotiations took place as confirmed by Greenburg though it was unsuccessful because as Ellerbe said, Floyd is not interested on boxing at this moment.

No he isn't and I never said that Ross Greenburg was not trying to make the fight so he obviously talked to both sides. Now it all depends on how you want to define those three way talks, they would certainly be classified under negotiations of some sort but really there needs to be more than that to make a fight happean.

Whatever though I just don't believe things got very far even if Greenburg tried his very best.

Greenburg's statement was what it was. He said there was negotiations taking place sinec May 2nd. He's neutral in this case and just explained his story.

But since it makes floyd, ellerbe, and the rest of his camp look bad, its in your natural instinct to attack him and create conspiracy theories re: his involvement. like this..

Greenburg's statement was a 2-line half-ass corroboration that did not even state who he was in communicado with. It does not overwrite the statements of Ellerbe/Hoya/Schaefer/Mayweather/Haymon..... Schaefer was even willing to take a lie detector test ffs.

1) a) Gee... "Money" Mayweather suddenly doesn't want "easy" money against a "one dimensional" fighter in Pac. Why is that, genius? b) Everything looked agreed to except blood testing the first time. So I'll answer your question with another question: If Pac's so "one dimensional" compared to Marquez, why didn't Mayweather force the blood test against Marquez? How about another? Why doesn't Mayweather Promotions PROMOTE blood testing for all their fighters if it was damn effective? And don't bring up money when "Money" Mayweather's riding things.

2) Notice just about everything Team Mayweather does recently, they do after Team Pac makes their move. They're cheap counter punchers in and out of the ring. a.) Mayweather signed, and yet Manny either ducked Floyd or he ducked random blood tests back in January
b.) there have been no official negotiations
c.) even Arum stated that Manny would not fight without Freddie, so understands why Mayweather may want to wait until after Roger's court case?
