BOMBSHELL JUST POSTED AT THE RING.COM
So, for anyone ****** enough to believe that negotiations never occurred... STFU.
It is official, Floyd 'Money' Mayweather Jr passed on the biggest payday of his career and ducked Manny Pacquiao and then his representatives tried to cover it up with lies.
/Debate.
Floyd said from day one he wasn't interested in a fight this year. Everyone in boxing knows Floyd wasn't gonna give in to Arum's deadline. There may have been a conversation but Team PBF has said from day 1 they weren't interested in a fight on 11/13 and certainly not with 14 days and 50/50. That was Manny's date not Floyd's.Comment

from HBO's Greenburg
“Fights like Mayweather vs. Pacquiao are significant because of these fighters’ ability to connect with sports fans around the world. It’s unfortunate that it won’t happen in 2010. I had been negotiating with a representative from each side since May 2nd, carefully trying to put the fight together. Hopefully, someday this fight will happen. Sports fans deserve it.”

The truth
Leonard Ellerbe, Richard Schaefer and the rest of GBP should finally give up on trying to convince the world that negotiations weren't taking place after this statement from Greenburg has finally been released. Little Floyd is coming off a big pay day and with his iRS issues behind him he can careless about this big pay check. To him there is to much to lose with a fight with Pac. At this point his 0 is priceless. It's a clear sign of a fighter that mentally knows he would be beat. Hopefully for the sake of boxing Floyds ******** catches up to him again to were he needs this fight then the world will get to see Pac take him out in 6.Comment
