loyal till the end. They never said a word about not wanting to fight on 11/13, in fact they never said a word until Pacquiao/Arum called their bluff and said 'let's get it on', then all of a sudden we heard a lot about vacations, uncle's trial, rap album w/ 50 cent, it's been 60 days... and then the cherry on top... a blatant lie (smack yourself if you really believed it) about negotiations never taking place.

This has been SHUT DOWN, emphatically. So just admit Floyd ducked Manny and he will stay on 'vacation' until Pacquiao either loses or retires, then he'll come out of hiding once Ivan Calderon 'calls him out'. But for now...

Now that Dela Hoya has changed his previous statement,

He should also change his previous statement glorifying prettyBOY -

as "The King of the World" to "Ducking of the World"

Oscar look like he is sort of under influence of liqour, or drugs when he made those statements!

I had been negotiating with a representative from each side since May 2nd, carefully trying to put the fight together. Hopefully, someday this fight will happen. Sports fans deserve it.”

In all seriousness, the reason why Greenburg did not name names or accuse anyone of lying is because he still wants the fight to be made. And he wants to keep the names of those he worked with private so he can go back to them in confidence to try and get the fight done for next spring. Notice he didn't mention Arum's name either, and he didn't accuse anyone of lying or being dishonest.

Of course, none of the Mayweather fans will understand this. So I don't know why I posted it.

So by your logic, DLH was actually telling the truth but only lying about the fact that it was actually easier to hype up an imaginary fight where no talks or negotiations were occurred instead of saying "there is no fight".

Frankly if I was getting bugged everyday about possibly the biggest fight in boxing history, I'd say "no fight" instead of making a 30 second statement. Its clear, definitive and saves time off my day and reporters seeking answers. I mean its just a wild assumption to assume 2 words was easier to say than statement after statement.
