A 60-40 purse with the majority of the PPV revenue going to Cotto would be okay. Howver if he asks for 50-50 like he did against Mosley after he fought Floyd then he is kidding himself man.

That'd be fine if it would be a PPV. But it's not guaranteed to be.

And if it's a WCB...HBO would have to put up AT LEAST $4 million, which they don't do very often.

Berto isn't Mayweather. Haymon knows Cotto is a bigger star, so negotiating shouldn't and wouldn't be a big issue as far as purse splits are concerned. Plus, Haymon is an adviser, he's not Berto's promoter. Dibella and Arum have a good working relationship.

With that being said, I'd much rather see Cotto vs Berto than Cotto vs Vanes.

I know he is an advisor, but I just don't see any of Haymon's fighters doing any business with Arum at this particular time. Would I like to see? Of course.
