I don't care that Pacquiao is fighting Margarito, Since Floyd will not entertain a fight with Pacquiao. I do care that it will be at a Catch weight. That I have a problem. I like Pacquiao, but not like this. Fight at 154. no catch weight. either fight at 147 or 154. Stop listening to that idiot Konz or whatever his name is.

no but he was a p4p star and an attraction. Bradley none of those and he is ducking alexander.

So now you have to be entitled to fight pac? So how in the **** is Marg entitled to fight pac rather than bradley?
More to the point...why are either of them entitled to fight for a 154 (JMW, SWW, LMW) belt?

NO they wouldnt because both have speed and power
both pose very dangerous threats to pac thats why he wont fight them

I want to see pac matched up agaisnt a boxer with speed and power
or at least Speed like bradley

The governing bodies has no morality left in them, so when Pac says he wants to fight at 150 with a belt on the line, these governing bodies would give it to him in a silver platter.
Fighting for a belt at a catchweight once was enough. Twice is blasphemy. It's clear as day and night, team Pac wants to have that 154 title belt but is not willing to honor the division limit.

Asking for a catchweight again makes it clear that team Pac is not asking for a fair fight. Poor Margo, he has no say at all..

Yeah on paper he is the best but he hasn't fought Khan or alexander. I know you are trying to place pac and floyd on the same boat but this is entirely different to floyd ducking marg and cotto that were big names and ranked in his own division. Pac is a welterweight where bradley is not ranked and he is not a big enough name to demand attention from the elite fighters. Pac was already a huge star before he fought hatton and oscar. That is not even compareable.

Well, I am not objecting to the catchweight in margachito's defense. I hope Pacquiao knocks him senile. No, I just think catchweights are bull****.

This fight has three very ugy and poignant flaws: 1)margachito is getting a payday when he deserves to be in prison, or at least banned for life. 2)Pacquiao is fighting for another title at a catchweight. 3)Neither of them have proven themselves to be a force in that division; and no, beating one guy does not, in my opinion, count as being a 'force'.

Don't tell me Cotto had no speed and power.
Definitely, Cotto had power. He also sported that quick stiff jab. Cotto's body shots are arguably one of the best i've ever seen. He was a live opponent and he posed a real threat coming in before the fight.
Just like all Pac's opponents, they were all live threats coming in before the fight. They just looked liked bums, past prime, weight-drained after pac zapped through them.

By the way.. Cotto at 145 still >>>>>>>>>>>>>> than Berto

ducking marg and cotto that were big names and ranked in his own division. In 2005, marg was 1 fight after losing to daniel santos and cotto was not a top ranked 147 lber by any means.

SO we go back to paul williams. he is a big name (no worse than the #3 or #4 p4p fighter in the world) that called manny out and is coming to 147 lbs. fight him instead of marg since he meets the criteria you cited.

Pac is a welterweight where bradley is not ranked and he is not a big enough name to demand attention from the elite fighters. So pac is only choosing to fight big names. I thought that was called cherry picking? Is pac cherry picking?
