When Arum was asked about it he said '' cotto is not ready '', thats what he said. So how could you duck someone that never called you out. thats obvious you got to understand people would go out of their way to find something to ***** about Floyd's persona brings that out of people. they will be the 1st to buy a PPV because prefight that fight is competitive and Floyd has a chance of losing post fight that other boxer had no chance against Floyd.

Cotto, when asked about fighting Floyd back then, said "floyd knows where to find me if he wants me." Cotto don't go around calling people out. Not his style. Floyd responded saying, "Cotto's too green".

Cotto was undefeated and hungry, kicking ass and it was the promoters that didn't let the fight happen, if I'm not mistaken. Not saying anybody ducked anybody. As far as i know it just didn't happen. Might have been an Arum "in house" thing or something, i don't know. I would have loved to see that fight back then though, even though i give Floyd the edge on it. He probably would have handed Miguel his 1st loss.

Floyd has a style that Cotto does well with.

I don't see the excuses, to sum it all up he pretty much only says that Cotto knows the business of the sport, which is why didn't want to fight him. Now that he actually will pull his own fans into ppv fights he is worth fighting.
