and manny pac walked away from 50/50 and 14 days.

so blame arum or the fighters. but floyd asked/wanted the fights and did get them
Yada yada yada. All these excuses for Floyd. Point is he should have fought the best at that time.

I know Floyd fought who he fought because all the best fighters avoided him, so its NEVER his fault

I dont like that word "duck".

But yes he avoided those fighters who at the time were considered a HUGE risk especially Tszyu. Just like Floyd and Pac are avoiding certian fighters right now

Many of the guys i mention were considered solid champs at the time, perhaps not hall of famers. Mayweather could have moved up earlier to fight Kostya, but instead fought Gatti who he called a paper champ.

Casamayor was undefeated and so was Cotto At the time that mayweather could have fought them. Margarito called him out face to face in person, we all saw the video and he took Carlos Baldomir instead.

I do consider most of the guys i mentioned as great-not exactly hall of famers except Casamayor, Tszyu, and Pacquiao.

In fairness, as i said before pretty much every fighter ducks guys. Recently, only few guys like Evander Holyfield and Glenn Johnson fight everyone.

Yes EVERY fighter avoids other fighters but theres a time when a super fight could be made like Floyd/Tszyu, Floyd/Cotto and Floyd/Pac but are never made. Then a guy like Cotto or Tszyu lose and arent considered good enough to beat Floyd anymore.

In hindsight, it doesn't bother me tho.

I'm talking about ability and potential. Spadafora was something else.

Margarito, i never cared for. But the perception of him at the time was great.

Yes after he beat Cotto he was considered great. Watching him take bombs from Cotto and still destroy him made him avoided and perceived as really good.

Otherwise why would he go into the Mosley fight as a 4-1 favorite(not 100% sure)
