Fighting once at 154 and 147 his whole career does not mean Margacheato will be weight drained at 150! If anything, this still helps Margacheato!

I was behind pac fighting at 145 for the title coz he never fought at 147 before and only fought at 140 once previously. But to fight at 150 for the 154 title is a joke!! If Pac wins, I have no problem putting an asterisk next his record for 8 world titles because it really should be six!

This fight should be at 147!

Only reason this fight is taking place is to get an 8th title against a opponent he could beat in a weight class that he should not be in a fight that will sell good

            Did i miss anything

Of course he has no "issues" with the demand
Margaritos career is hanging by a thread...Pac can pretty much demand anything he wants and Cheato will have to accept.
Win or Lose Margarito is back in the public eye.
Arum, Pac and Roach think were all *******s or casual fans.....Some of us know boxing.
This catch weight crap is a disgrace to an already watered down alphabet soup!!!

                1. Margacheato gets the extra 3 lbs that he needs!
                2. Pac gets his record eighth world title!
                3. The WBC gets their sanctioning fee!

All parties are happy, except for the hardcore boxing fans! Just leave it at 147!!!
thats true, easy at 147 as was the case for pac/clottey = no catchweight. besides, margarito was basically a career 147, and one fight at 154 in his last fight. people who saw margarito's last fight said he was sluggish and awkward, etc...if thats the case, then maybe losing a couple of extra lbs and still be be within the 154 limit may benefit margarito.

people scream catcheweight = b/s (against cotto and now margarito), but yet these are the same people who say why dont pac fight p williams at welterweight, who hasnt fought at 147 for what, like 2+ yrs...that in itself is a bigger catchweight than pac against margarito.

people have twisted minds and contridict themselves way too many times...come on, of p williams have no problem dropping to 147 after 2+ yrs at 154/160, then whats the big deal in margarito fighting at 150 (jr middleweight) after one fight at 154 from being basically a career 147.
