Mayweather's resume has been compared to lots of guys like De La Hoya and Roy Jones Jr. many times in the forum and Mayweather never comes out on top in these discussions or polls. There is a reason! So any comparison to Paquiao or any other active legend is going to leave Mayweather's fans hurt and is not worth the effort. The thing is for Mayweather fans is not to be so hurt by the truth but hopefully open their mind up to other fighters that have not been so careful about they got into the ring with. Try to see past the hype.

Floyd has decent wins over Mosley and Hernandez. Pacquiao has a decent win over Ledwaba.

Then Floyd has average wins over Baldomir, Judah, Gatti and Hatton. Pacquiao has average wins over Morales, Solis, Diaz and Clottey.

I would say there resumes are about even, although I would give more props to Floyd as hes fought more world championship bouts. BTW I dont count the JMM win for either fighter as JMM was way above his natural weight for PBF and I have JMM beating Pac twice.
You would have to count JMM as win(s) for Pacquiao the same way you cound Castillo for Floyd. I agree, i had JMM winning but that doesn't matter.

if manny cant get through floyds resume and floyd floyd can walk through pacs, how is that irrelevant. that shows whos resume is better, guy.

floyd had the better opposition on his resume and it cant be disputed

Took out the irrelevant parts. Collecting papertitles has no bearing on legacy.

Oh thats completely unfair, Pac fought him at his peak and has a win in one fight and a draw in the other that should have been a win if not for a judges scoring error.

What about the fight with Castillo? MANY as i scored floyd losing that one

floyd was fighting with one arm in his first fight with castillo and **** won. and gave an immediate rematch and won again. while pac went life and death with JMM and JMM wont more rounds in both fights

it does matter, have to keep things in perspective
