The people who say the article is not about a fight and the comments are useless are wrong. That's the whole point, if they aren't talking about a fight why is that? Or maybe the meeting is also about the possibility of a fight? Do you think they will reveal all the points that will be covered in this meeting?
It is easy to assume that this kind of meeting may also involve a discussion about a possible fight, maybe not now but somewhere in the future, besides other kind of promotional issues.
So as a result some people like myself doubt a fight will ever happen given the reasons I stated in my previous post while others believe a fight might happen and comment on the opportunity and the result of such a fight.
As a conclusion I would say such an article obviously starts this kind of posts because such a meeting might lead to a discussion of a fight regardless of what the article states.

Who knows what exactly will be discussed. I dont think Cottos camp should even deal with the likes of Mayweather after the slanderous comments Mayweather made of Cotto back in 2007-2008 when Cotto was the man at 147.

I honestly feel they probably are discussing the outcome of money when it comes to a potential fight aside from their "co promoting" negotiations.

Mayweather vs Cotto would be one hell of a fight and gross just as much as Pacquiao vs Cotto and maybe more. aside from Pacquiao vs Mayweather a Cotto vs Mayweather fight would be the second biggest fight to make in boxing
