I'm gonna go with no since all they are talking about is Floyd ducking Manny to fight Cotto when the article says they are just meeting to discuss promoting fights together. SMH

So whatever happened to Floyd jr's not wanting to talk about boxing? And what fights are they possibly gonna promote? Pac/Floyd?

Its quite natural for people to immediately assume they're talking about fighting each other, no matter what they say otherwise.

He said he didn't wanna talk about himself fighting. Just because he's not fighting that doesn't mean he stops talking business. You're right that its natural for people to think they're talking about fighting each other, but that's only if the article suggests it, which it doesn't. It specifially says they are talking to discuss co-promoting events in PR. Would I like to see Cotto vs Floyd? Sure. Would of loved to see it earlier at 140 when Top Rank turned it down or at 147 when Cotto was undefeated.

Ah well. I'm not gonna speculate further regarding this. I just hope SOMETHING comes up. Cotto/Floyd jr, if it does happen, would be a good prequel for a pac/floyd jr fight IMO.

Mayweather can't fight any1 other then Pacquiao. He can't say im not interested in Boxing when pressed on a fight with Manny and then go and sign 2 fight some1else. I would def like 2 the fight though between Cotto and Mayweather. Should of happened in early 2008 after Cotto beat Shane and Floyd beat Hatton. Lets not get ahead of ourselves though, the article said just bcuz their meeting, wouldn't mean their gonna fight. Could just be promotional talk like the lawyer said.
