Despite Haye's trash talking and relaxed attitude, i actually sensed there was a bit of nerves in his last 2 fights against Ruiz and Valuev.

Damn, good one. He was petrified. You could see it in his face - especially after they threw beer at him during his entrance. His whole steez switched up.

Mayweather against Hatton, even on his ring walk he looked full of trepidation, he was also tight as anything when the bell rang, infact i think Roger or Ellerbe kept telling him to relax.

Barrett against Haye, dude started coming apart days before the fight complaining about the way he had been treated, that and the fact he ran to the ring and fell over the top rope was a sure sign, to me at least, that he had let all the nervous energy consume him.

Khan against Barrera, this was not Amir's come back fight but it prolly was his first biggest test since that KO, i sensed a lot of jittery, nervous energy from the way he fought in the early rounds, it was as though he was using his speed at a high intensity because he was trying control that nervous energy.
I would say Hatton was the nervous one against Mayweather. He was so wound up and tight at the weigh in with all that "lets fookin av him" ****. Its kinda cringeworthy watching it now....

Dirrell vs froch and abraham was funny as hell. Also Hatton had mayweather shook more than anyone else, he knew hatton wasn't scared of him.

No offense but i do hate it when people regurgitate the same BS that the media come out with, the British media are the only ones that perpetuate that opinion, oh, and maybe Hatton and his team, no doubt to play off the fact he got chinned because he was not good enough.

Let me ask this, did Hatton fight a different fight than he usually does, cause i didn't see it.

                  lol.

during the fight, Hamed was petrified of throwing that big left hand.

Another prime example of a boxing clinic.

I thought Cotto looked shooked walkin' in against Pac....and Big Vitali looked like he was having a war with himself before his fight with Lewis...but once Lewis got in the ring I think he became calmer.....good thread!!

                      Ricky Hatton against Manny

Watch the start of Ricky’s ring walk, note the DEEP breath. Right there, at that point, he knew...
