Talking about Floyd taking a vacation (umm ok) changes the fact this fight is terrible on all levels.

With all Honesty. I really want Floyd and Manny to fight. I'd pay double or triple to see that fight that this. With whats been happening now, I am so pissed. This is how I felt when there was no Leonard and Haggler 2. When Tyson went to jail and did not had a chance to fight Holyfield. When Bowe & Lewis never happen.

At least he fought Mosley at his best when he was coming off an impressive knockout win over Margarito. I've tried but I just cant say the same for Pacquiao and any person with an ounce of honesty will agree plus pacs next fight with this cheater Marg bears witness to this testimony so dont deny it. ps if you are going to deny this fact or try to spin it please don't reply back I only post for the the true fans of the sweet science and thinkers. Why is anyone surprised. This article is from February 22nd 2010 where Margorito let it slip back then that Arum promised him a fight in November with Pac. All this B.S about making a fight with Floyd is just that B.S. Margorito was guaranteed the fight from in February. Wake up and stop falling for Arums lies. Only idiots would support this fight. Bob Arum and his Top Rank round robin tournaments will not get a dime from me.

Margarito Confirms Next Bout, Will Not Appear at Hearing!

February 22, 2010 by Felipe Leon

According to Dan Antuna of Tijuana newspaper Frontera, Antonio Margarito confirmed his next bout for May 8th in Aguascalientes, MX. After his bid to fight on the March 13th fight card in Dallas, TX, was not solidfied, the “Tijuana Tornado” will still face Carson Jones at the yearly state fair held in that Mexican city.

“The fight in May is confirmed directly from Bob Arum of Top Rank. He also assured me a fight with Manny Pacquiao in November,” Margarito stated.

He also mentioned that he would not be appearing at a hearing to solicit his license from the California State Atlethic Commission.

“Arum recommended me not to go, he said that I complied with teh sanction and they should give me the lincense without attending and audience,” he explained.

Margarito has been training at the Azteca Gym and the Mojac Gym, both in Tijuana.

            Margarito Steals Show

Despite being out of the ring for a little over a year after being suspended by the California State Athletic Comission for illegal hand wraps in his bout with Shane Mosley, Margarito’s popularity has not diminished in his hometown of Tijuana.

Last Saturday night, Margarito attended the local fight card at the Mariano Matamoros Gym and he was bombarded by the amassed fight fans in hopes of attaining a photo or autograph from the three time welterweight champion.

Paper plates, napkins, t-shirts, business cards and even a pair of pants were put in front of the “Tijuana Tornado” for him to emblazone with his signature.

Once the fight card was over, Margarito stayed 40 minutes after to accomodate all the fight fans that were vying for a little face time.

Sorry, but that win was more than a year ago. Shane has not fought anybody after Margarito. I am not disrespecting Floyd as a Boxer, he has Mad Skills I'll give him that. It's his persona that he's trying show people that pisses me off. Why do you think I wanted to see him fight Pacquiao? 'coz it will be one hell of a Fight. Good Defense VS Good Offense, Top of thier Prime!!! It has not happened in Years!!! Both can claim they are the #1 P4P, but until that happens, it will not be resolved!!!

That is weak. People are already claiming Pac & Marg to be Bad, then you drop in Mosley's name? You kiddin' me? He just lost to Floyd. So what's the point. Pac beats him, then Floyd will say, "I's line them up for him, soften them up" C-mon, you can do better than that.

                      good point.

styles make fights I guess. just cause shane destroyed margarito doesn't necessarily mean pac will destroy margarito. just like cotto beat shane by split decision, but got his ass beat by margarito.

you don't know how a fight is gonna turn out until they actually fight. we already seen pac/cotto, but we never seen pac/marg.

my guess is this will be the argument for it.
